Stephen was formally trained as a painter and illustrator at Pratt Institute . In 1985 an invitation to paint a mural in a local upstart Italian restaurant led him on a 15 year painting adventure with what became The Olive Garden. He hand painted approximately 1500 murals in 490 restaurants in 47 states.
Starting in 2000 he pursued his long term goal of being a full time
landscape painter. He works in both oil and acrylic on canvas and focuses
on the serenity of the landscape while pushing the effects color and
light. His work is represented by several galleries and shown at selected
art festivals throughout the U.S. |
